Plenty of people at Stanford are good at looking like they are building something. A title, a pitch, a stage. We are not interested in the look of it.

Spades is for people who make things and can show it. A system that runs. A product people paid for. A piece that is finished. A result that took longer than anyone said it would.

We believe in talent in spades. We would rather say less and have it be true.

If you are performing for us, there is nothing here to perform for. If you are making something real, tell us what it is and how you did it.

Spades is a small group of people who are exceptional at something and would be better for knowing each other.
